The Dynect platform supports Round-Robin DNS hostnames through our LB-DNS system. As a front-line load balancer, LB-DNS can be used to distribute load across a pool of servers in one or many locations. Advanced network monitoring allows our systems to detect and repair failures. This means that when a server fails, the Dynect platform will automatically remove the failed server from the Round-Robin DNS for you. We'll also notify you via e-mail when there's a problem.
Coming Soon: Geographic Load Balancing
Your customers are all over the world. You have data centers in Asia, US West Coast, US East Coast, and Europe. You want your infrastructure to give your customers the best experience you can. With the Dynect service's global loabalancing function, your Asian customers won't end up at your East Coast server anymore. The Dynect platform's anycast routing, will ensure that Asian users are pointed to your Asian presence, thus minimizing network latency and optimizing each user's experience.
